A Narrative and Culture Change Strategy to Prevent Sexual and Domestic Violence
Online

06/26/2020, 01:00 PM - 06/26/2020, 02:30 PM

Why is narrative and culture change important for gender-based violence prevention, especially in the current landscape? Cultural norms shape our beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors, and influence our sense of what's acceptable and not acceptable within a community or society at large. Changing culture requires working with multiple sectors and culture makers to develop stories that reflects the reality we seek. Join us for this web conference with the Center for Cultural Power and Story at Scale to discuss a new cultural strategy to advance gender justice using intersectional research and storytelling that centers marginalized voices.
